The Volvo derivative of the European standard for salt spray testing

Introduction

This Volvo salt spray test conforms to ISO9227, further information on which can be found at www.iso9227.com.

This standard has not been used for new designs at Volvo since 2005 and is for historic reference only, for new designs STD 423-0010 (Volvo Group) and VCS 5711,1029 (Volvo Car Corporation) should be used.
